What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN position at Morton Comprehensive Health Services?
Come join our team of health providers and support staff that provide patient-focused health care to make a difference in the health of our patients. Our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) assist our healthcare providers in providing patient-centered and quality-focused healthcare. Primary responsibilities include basic patient care, triage procedures, charting, and medication orders.
This position will be scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays in Nowata, OK.
Job Qualifications:
- Current LPN licensure for the state of Oklahoma
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of clinical experience required
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Membership and participation in LPN Association encouraged.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a clinic environment
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds
- Must be able to sit, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Possess the ability to bend, lift, and climb stairs.
Work may involve some exposures to operating circumstances that require following standard or prescribed safety precautions.
This position has been deemed a” Safety-Sensitive” position; therefore, Morton reserves the right to refuse to hire an applicant or may terminate an employee in a “Safety-Sensitive Position” who tests positive for medical marijuana even if they has a valid medical marijuana license
