Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document repairs
- Fabricate and weld parts as needed
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to delegate tasks and provide guidance to others
