Summary

The Manager IT-Sys Admin is responsible for effectively creating, communicating, and coordinating tactical direction and implementation of IT Sys Admin operations in support of key initiatives and the IT strategy. The Manager IT Sys Admin will manage steady state operations as well as the design, build and implementation of IT systems. Collaborates with key business partners, internal technology teams and external vendors to build processes and leverage technology to enable digital innovation. Manager IT Sys Admin remains knowledgeable about Mosaic IT Standards, cybersecurity requirements, regulatory, and legal standards that may impact IT. The Manager IT Sys Admin will establish key performance indicators and measure operational performance to measure and report on operational effectiveness. The Manager IT-Sys Admin will be responsible for building a high performing team, fostering an open, diverse and empowered culture to ensure alignment to the Mosaic culture prioritizing patient care.Specifically, the Manager IT Sys Admin will be responsible for designing, building, and running the IT infrastructure environment including both on-prem and cloud based IT systems. This position is employed by Mosaic Life Care.

Duties

Leadership/Supervisory Role: Manage the work direction and resource needs for a team of system engineers. Define strategic goals and manage performance to meet those goals. This position is responsible for hiring and building high-performing teams, empowering people and rewarding results. Develops and clearly communicates goals and priorities and continuously coaches and monitors team progress. Responsible for developing clear career paths to support team growth.
Strategy Leadership: Demonstrates the ability to establish and communicate a vision for the team. Manage activities relative to the day-to-day operations of IT Infrastructure and Cloud in support of the IT strategy. Determine business and technical requirements to maintain the highest possible degree of operational stability and digital innovation.
Collaboration and Support: Serve as a key respondent and facilitator for internal and external technical incidents. Follow industry and technology trends and best practices to advise leadership and direct teams on the best employment of tools, techniques, and procedures. Develop and maintain a working relationship with 3rd arty service providers as needed. The Manager also works closely with the IT leadership in the business technology planning process as well as the analysis of departmental efficiencies and effectiveness.

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma is required. Bachelor's Degree-Computer Science or related field is preferred.
1 or more relevant technical/professional certifications preferred.
Relevant Subject Matter experience (5-7 years required). Leadership experience preferred.
