Job Summary:
The Moser Energy Systems Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations of the organization. The primary role involves the management of all activities related to procurement, Inventory, shipping and receiving to ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of products and services.
Education/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or a related field is required.
- 3 years of prior supervisory experience is required.
- 5-10 years of supply chain experience is preferred.

Supervisor:
Vice President, Operations, unless otherwise designated.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies and objectives to meet the company’s goals, including cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, components, and services.
- Oversee inventory levels, by monitoring month on hand.
- Lead mentor and guide a team of Parts Managers located throughout company territories.
- Manage and analyze inventory by category such as ABC or Pareto.
- Set performance goals and provide regular feedback and evaluations to subordinates.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Implement and maintain an efficient parts and inventory management system.
- Establish and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss and improve accuracy.
- Manage the budget for company Supply Chain.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize spending.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Generate regular reports on purchasing, parts inventory, and shipping/receiving performance.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements for parts and equipment.
- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitoring the current parts inventory.
- Pricing parts to maintain profitability.
- Know and comply with all safety policies, standards, and procedures that apply to your job.
- Actively participate in all required training and safety meetings.
- Use the correct tools and use them safely.
- Immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
- Abide by all policies and procedures established by Moser Energy Systems.
- Assist with any task required by the direct supervisor.
