Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, and providing excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in auto service management and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Duties:
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs
- Prepare accurate estimates for labor, parts, and materials
- Communicate with customers to explain the repair process and answer any questions
- Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, estimates, and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in auto body repair techniques
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and procedures
- Proficient in using computerized estimating systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers
- Sales skills to upsell additional services or repairs as needed
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately assess vehicle damage
- Knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmission, air brake, automotive repair, shocks struts, and auto estimating is a plus

Pay: $46,500.00 - $58,000.00 per year
