The Mosque Foundation is a religious community center serving a diverse population of over 70,000 residents southwest of the Chicago Loop. For over 40 years, the Mosque Foundation has served area Muslims' spiritual, religious, and communal needs by nurturing their faith, upholding their values, and fostering the surrounding community's well-being through worship, charity, education, outreach, and civic engagement.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the development of a state-of-the-art Community Center and Sports Complex. The project aims to create a vibrant, inclusive space for the community's youth and sports enthusiasts, providing various recreational and educational opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, resources, and budget allocation.
• Coordinate with the General Contractor and other subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure the project stays within budget.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high construction standards and compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and execute contingency plans to keep the project on track.
• Allocate resources efficiently to meet project requirements while optimizing productivity.
• Lead and supervise the project team, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability.
• Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and any relevant changes.
• Promote a safe working environment for all project participants.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction Project Manager, specifically managing complex projects from inception to completion.
• Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD).

Skills and Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Familiarity with youth and sports complex development is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, perform cost analysis, and maintain financial discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
• A track record of successfully leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Strategic thinking with the capacity to identify challenges and devise practical solutions.
• Adapt to shifting project demands and capability to make decisions in dynamic environments.

Work Authorization:

Pay: $56,375.40 - $87,892.95 per year
