What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Compliance/SOC Manager position at Moss Adams?
- Manage SOC engagements including client expectations, budgets and reporting
- Deliver detailed analysis of exceptions and coordinate all analytical, technical and research tasks
- Collaborate with Managers and Senior Managers related to review, reporting and any technical issues
- Build relationships with existing clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities
- Provide both leadership and supervision to IT Compliance Staff and Seniors
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; major in business, finance, accounting or information systems preferred
- 5 years of IT audit experience required
- CISA, CPA, and/or CIA required
- Previous SOC or Sarbanes-Oxley IT audit experience required
- Ability to research and interpret U.S. AICPA Attestation Standards and applies findings to support conclusions preferred
- Provide input and help develop SOC and IT audit methodology
- Demonstrates understanding of technical and business functionality of cloud service providers
- Ability to identify, define, and write controls and IT test plans for complex SOC controls
- Demonstrate success to the firm around practice development, providing thought leadership and meeting target sales goals by having an established network and participating in various market facing activities, such as industry presentations, webcasts, professional networking events, etc. preferred
- 3 or more years of experience within a public accounting/consulting firm preferred
- Ability to travel (over 3 hours from home) up to 10-30%
