Job description
Our rapidly growing meal prep company is looking for a Logistics Supervisor.
Responsibilities (Including But Not Limited To):
- Supervise and manage packing teams
- Supervise all packing/shipping operations
- Be the go-to team member for shipping partners (such as FedEx and local delivery team)
- Assure accurate and quality packaging of all meals per customer orders
- Maintain quality standards for all packages
- Maintain sanitization and cleanliness of packing area, as well as all materials and supplies
- Be responsible for any errors and/or solutions to minimize reoccurrence of issues in the future
- Maintain accurate inventory of meals
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and shipping necessities at all times
- Work with management to develop/improve efficiency
Qualifications:
- Warehouse/Shipping experience preferred
- Go-getter attitude
- Ability to work weekends
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift more than 50 lbs
- Ability to work full 8 hour day
- English speaking and understanding is a must, bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship
Other Details:
- This position is benefits eligible after 90 days of employment
- Pay is dependent upon experience and is negotiable
- Ideal candidate MUST have a go-getter attitude, be self-sufficient, and must be able to effectively communicate with staff
- Must be results and accuracy driven
- Must be able to think on their feet, and have great problem solving skills
