Role Overview: They are seeking an experienced and passionate Staff Frontend Engineer to join their talented team in Boston, MA. As a key member of the engineering team, you will lead the development of innovative frontend solutions for marketing technology platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly frontend applications that drive customer engagement and business growth.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, architecture, and development of frontend applications using modern web technologies.
Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into technical specifications and scalable frontend solutions.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and best practices in frontend development.
Drive frontend engineering initiatives, including code refactoring, performance optimization, and architectural improvements.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in frontend development.
Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related frontend technologies.
Expertise in at least one modern JavaScript framework/library such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with frontend build tools and package managers (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
Solid understanding of responsive design principles and frontend optimization techniques.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
Familiarity with marketing technology and digital advertising platforms is desirable but not required.
