Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a leader in the food & beverage industry, is looking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor. This role is fully onsite in Muscatine, IA.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be supporting maintenance business management, maintenance materials inventory, maintenance recruit to retire, manufacturing process reliability, and equipment reliability. You will also support the development of departmental budgets, maintenance management systems, and corrective maintenance programs, partnering with engineering to boost operational efficiency and ensure highest quality production!

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 7 direct reports across various business operations, championing safety, GMP, and high operational standards
• Develop preventative maintenance procedures & routine schedules to increase the operational life of equipment, reducing cost and loss of production
• Analyze production downtime reports to determine opportunities for growth, and initiate plans of action to boost efficiency
• Oversee electrical, controls programming, and utilities systems, including ammonia refrigeration & boiler systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners to ensure timely repair of equipment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• 2 years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in food & beverage or pharmaceutical industries
• Working knowledge of SAP and Kronos supporting maintenance management
• Ideal candidates come from a Lean Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) background!
