- Experience with static typed/compiled languages
- Expertise in Java 8
- Experience or interest in functional programming: Scala, Kotlin, Groovy, Clojure
- Backend Design Experience using REST, scaling, and distributed systems
- Cloud and CI/CD experience: AWS, EC2, PostgreS, Kinesis, GIT, etc.
- Experience with server environment: Linux
- Experience with other programming languages: C#, Python, etc.
- Creative mindset
- Ability to work autonomously
