Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, cloud-native applications on Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) leveraging best practices and architectural principles.
- Develop and implement APIs and microservices using service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural integrity and consistency across all services.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions that are secure, scalable, and highly available.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on Cloud services and best practices.
- Perform technical assessments, feasibility studies, and proof of concepts (POCs) for new initiatives and projects.
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployment processes on Cloud.
- Conduct performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization of cloud-based applications and services.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing and Cloud services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-6 years of experience designing and delivering APIs and services using service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Proven experience architecting solutions on Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), including proficiency in Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and implementation using RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager).
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Cloud certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
