What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at MOTOMOTO Sushi and Izakaya?
Motomoto Sushi Izakaya is looking for a competent server to join our team. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. Preference goes to weekend availability, flexible schedules but all applications will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers at their table and immediately get drink orders
- Present restaurant menu and offer suggestions based on objectives or guest preference
- Accurately transfer orders into POS and ensure orders are delivered correctly
- Collaborate with other FOH and kitchen staff on tasks including cleaning/closing
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue customer bills and accept payment
Skills
- Minimum 1 year serving experience in a full service restaurant required
- Special attention to cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Open availability/full time preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $38.00 per hour
