POSITION: IT Manager – North America
LOCATION: Mount Carmel, Illinois
REPORTS TO: Global VP of IT
JOB SUMMARY
The IT Manager – North America is responsible for overall department oversite including management of projects, personnel, budgets, infrastructure, key stakeholder relationships, and department performance. The position will have responsibility for all IT systems and strategy within our Mount Carmel, IL, Atlanta, GA, and Monterrey, Mexico facilities. The IT Manager defines system and application functionality by evaluating procedures and processes and develops solutions through evaluating user feedback and alternative workflows. This is an on-site position in our Mount Carmel, IL office.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats

Improves systems by studying current practices, applying best practices, and designing modifications

Recommends controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures

Ensures operation by training personnel, providing help desk support, and providing references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation

Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems & services

Provide support and collaboration to business units
-
Help define infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.

Partner with key stakeholders across organization

Functional Power User of ERP systems
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

One full-time IT Infrastructure Manager and one full-time Systems Administrator in the US

One full-time IT Coordinator in Mexico
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
-
2-5 years of experience in working in IT operations management and IT infrastructure
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Day to day applications support in operational North America sites

Hand on experience with ERP system – WMS experience preferred

Experience with multiple programming languages – SQL preferred

Ability to explain technical details and handle complex information with accuracy and attention to detail

Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize

Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication
