Department Overview
Global Logistics supports the Supply Chain with the movement of supply to Distribution Centers and finished orders to Customers. Global Logistics manages Third Party Logistics suppliers to provide Transportation, Brokerage, and Freight Payment operations. Logistics is responsible for Cost, Quality, and Delivery of services to ensure the Supply Chain can support Customer expectations and MSI goals
Job Description
Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines to meet future hiring demands. This is a pipeline role, while there may not be an immediate opening, we want to build relationships with prospective candidates. As an Export specialist you will support US exports operations of MSI radio equipment to global customers.
Qualifications:
1-year logistics experience with US Exports
Strong communication skills
Project mgt and organization skills
Collaboration with project teams, order mgt, pack and ship operations
Dangerous Goods training or certification to ship UN3480 batteries
Experience preparing a commercial invoices, Shipper's Letter of Instruction, Export Declarations (ACE), DG Declarations
Logistics experience with all modes of transportation including Small Parcel, Trucking, Air and Ocean operators
Oracle ERP experience a plus
US Export Trade compliance operations, export screening and controls
Basic Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
1-year logistics experience with US Exports
