Automotive Technician/Inspector

Motovise is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Inspector for our New Jersey Location.

Motovise conducts used car inspections and provides its customers with industry leading vehicle condition reports. We launched in 2017 and have been assisting customers in New Jersey ever since. We conduct the most comprehensive mobile inspections in the area and have a reputation to back it up. We operate with transparency and honesty towards our customers and our goal is to help our customers make the most informed purchasing decisions.

What will your duties and responsibilities consist of:

  • Complete used car inspections and identify damages and mechanical issues.
  • Travel to dealerships and private sellers to perform inspections and test drive vehicles.
  • Complete inspections using our Motovise Mobile App to upload photos and comments.
  • Communicate with sellers to schedule inspections.
  • Always do right by our customers and operate with transparency and integrity.

Inspector Qualifications

  • 3 years of automotive experience in a repair/body shop.
  • Ability to identify accident damage and mechanical issues.
  • Ability to diagnose basic mechanical issues.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission.
  • A smartphone to complete inspection and upload photos.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and maneuver around cars while outdoors.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability and willingness to work in the elements.
  • Reliable transportation to and from inspection locations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $250.00 per day

Experience:

  • Automotive repair: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • ASE Certification (Preferred)
