Job Description
- Supporting Project managers and bid managers with maintaining timely and appropriate communication with clients, consultants, suppliers, local offices, and other stakeholders *
- Assist with commercial management for business development and project management purposes * Conduct client research for potential programs
- Contribute to the process of administrating and completing independent and sub consultant contracts
- Support the financial management of projects
- Submit invoices to clients, and assist in debt management
- Review and process consultant invoices
- Monitor budgets and report status periodically
- Review, monitor, and identify risks in our projects, reporting progress periodically
- Support with producing, formatting, and distributing documents Bid and project proposals
- Reports (standard reports run from internal Project Management Desktop (PMD) and ad-hoc project updates)
- Presentations for internal meetings
- Maintain up-to-date project files (paper and electronic) in line with internal Business Management Systems (BMS) including: Complete Health, Safety & Security Risk Assessment's.
- Draft monthly project control forms for project managers
- Identify gaps and suggest measures to address them
- Archive reports and closed projects
- Other duties, as assigned, to contribute to business development and project management
- Additionally, the Project Coordinator will be required to:
- Be engaged with the process of continuous improvement and seeking ways of increasing efficiency As you develop, there will be opportunities to increase your responsibilities and undertake the above tasks more independently.
Candidate Specification
Key skills, qualifications, and experience
- Bachelor's degree qualified or equivalent
- Some experience in a project management role
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken, written, and listening.
- Competent numeracy skills with experience in creating and monitoring budgets and finances Proactive and able to use own initiative to solve problems and seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ability to prioritise under pressure
- Effective time management.
- Understanding of and sensitivity to cultural differences in developing countries
Language skills, French or Spanish preferred
