We are a handpicked gathering of traction power engineers with a deep and diversified mix of systems and electrical skills. We have been gathered to provide the best designs and advice for our clients in infrastructure and the rail transit environment.
We are seeking an intermediate traction power engineer to support our growing rail systems presence in the eastern US & Canada and continue to build on these foundations through:
- Task responsibilities assigned by our Discipline Leads
- Technical excellence and professional integrity
- Support the development of design drawings and specifications
- Contributing to the design of ongoing and new projects
Candidate Specification
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- 3 years' experience in traction power system design
- Support developing studies, design drawings, and specifications related to agency projects
- Good oral and written communication skills with ability to write engineering reports and specifications
- Have the ability to advance detailed design documentation for construction solicitation under supervision.
- Support development of presentations for design concept and studies.
- Experience in performing field investigations to obtain required electrical data.
- With oversight, be able to evaluate the condition of traction power equipment in the field and make recommendations to customers related to required electrical upgrades.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from four-year college or university or equivalent required.
- EIT is a plus.
