Injection Mold Technician
Reports to: Process Manager
Work Location: Maplewood Facility - Holland, MI
We have an exciting opportunity at our Maplewood Facility for a hands-on problem solver who is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level. The Injection Molding Technician will be responsible for providing physical and clerical support for all injection molding activities to ensure timely and safe execution of the production schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for mold set-ups, troubleshooting, exposure to maintenance problems and be familiar with controls on machines and robots
- Maintain and improve process controls
- First responder to all machine, robot, and secondary equipment alarms
- Ensure machines and robots are running in specifications
- Troubleshoot machine, mold, and material issues
- Report to Production Supervisor any difficulties or problems requiring special attention
- Responsible for the accurate completion of Process Verification and reporting
- Responsible for all die change activities not completed by die setter
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates or Technical Degree preferred, not required
- 3 years of experience in plastic injection molding
- Working knowledge of automation systems and equipment
- Basic blueprint reading skills
