What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seamstress position at MOUND CLEANERS?
Seamstress/alterations person needed at area dry cleaners. Part-time, flexible shifts between 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
Responsibilities: Operate sewing machines and other equipment to complete sewing tasks
such as hemming, stitching, attaching buttons, replacing zippers, take ins/let outs, etc. Provides individual tailoring/measuring with customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a seamstress or in a similar role desired.
- Proficient in using sewing machines and other sewing tools
- Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and fabric types
- Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
