Front Desk Receptionist and Security

Mount Angel Towers’ Assisted Living is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist who is interested in working at our senior living community. The open position is for weekend night shifts (Friday Midnight-8 AM, Saturday 11 PM-8 AM, and Sunday 11 PM-8:30 AM); this shift includes a paid, complimentary meal.

Ideal candidates will be able to do the following job responsibilities:

• Be welcoming and helpful to guests.
• Greet residents, visitors, and vendors courteously.
• Assist residents with questions and concerns.
• Answer phones and transfer calls with excellent customer service.
• Deliver packages and prescriptions (for swing and night shifts).
• Provide administrative support to the management team.
• Convey a warm, can-do, teamwork attitude and professional demeanor.
• Provide afterhours light maintenance wherever possible (change a light bulb, unclog a toilet, etc.).
• Provide after-hours housekeeping as needed.
• Turn lights on or off depending on the time.
• Patrol the building and parking lot several times a night (swing and night shifts).
• Ensure exterior doors are closed/locked after hours.
• Respond immediately to emergency calls and help medical crews when needed (always carry the emergency phone and pager).

Qualifications:

• Prefer 6 months of related experience.
• Ability to use computers and Microsoft applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Dependable and ability to follow directions/complete tasks.
• Ability to work weekends and special events.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Ability to become First- Aid certified and CPR certified is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 26 – 30 per week
