Mount Berry Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary technician/assistant. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Getting a though history for sick patients.
  • Collecting specimens (such as blood, urine, feces) and performing laboratory tests.
  • Preparing animals for surgery, and monitoring the animal during surgery
  • Performing dental cleanings
  • Giving specialized nursing care to critically ill or injured animals
  • IV catheter placement and management
  • medical records administration
  • patient observation
  • taking and developing digital radiography
  • dental radiography
  • administering medications and treatments
  • reviewing treatment protocols with pet owners.
  • Customer service sills are imperative in this service industry.

Experience preferred

Pay Rate will be based on experience and performance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.25 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
