**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Environmental Services to oversee and manage the environmental services department in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement environmental services policies and procedures
- Manage custodial staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Oversee all aspects of environmental services, including cleaning, sanitizing, laundry, and floor care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to environmental services
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in healthcare environmental services or a similar setting preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements for environmental services
- Strong background in custodial operations and commercial cleaning practices
- Ability to effectively clean, sanitize, and care for various types of surfaces and flooring
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
-Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
-Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; job includes pushing, pulling, lifting, crouching, etc.
