Westaff is looking for a 2nd shift Tower Machine Operator in the Merrimack, NH area for IMMEDIATE HIRE!!!
Entry level - client will train! Prefers some Manufacturing experience!
** $2000 sign on bonus - $1000 at 3 month conversion/$1000 at 6 months.
Shift: 2nd shift Mon/Wed 6pm-6am Tues/Thurs 6pm-4am = 44 hours - NO FRIDAYS!
Payrate: $20.90/hour Westaff pays every Friday!

Tower Machine Operator Job Description:
Job Summary: The Tower Operator is responsible for operating a 3 tier-vertical coating oven (Tower) to produce various sized rolls of coated fabric/ film material, while ensuring all customers’ quality needs and expectations are met and exceeded.- PLASTICS COMPANY!!!!
Job details:
• Perform Tower start-up, shut down and turnarounds
o Read and follow process sheet, work instructions and/or procedures to coat rolled fabric/film material
o Select rolls to be coated and carry/move to the pay-off, slide over shaft, inflate shaft and splice material to the leader
o Use various tools to move fabric/film material to/from Tower
o Check materials and/or coating formulation using various calibrated and non-calibrated tools
o Recognize and correct processing problems
o Determine through process decision making whether to continue running/operations or to stop the run
o Properly complete required paperwork/forms
o Input shop floor control data into computer systems (QAD/GEORGE)
o Perform periodic maintenance, as required/requested on Tower, to include cleaning ovens
• Complete visual inspections on material as it is processed through Tower run/operations
o Recognize defects, use proper descriptions and codes
o Manually adjust various machine components to correct defects as they arise
o Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to Tower Lead
