Guest Services Reservationist
Job Posting for Guest Services Reservationist at Mountain Capital Partners
The Guest Services Reservationist will be responsible and participate in front line, guest service and sales needs. This will include selling and reciprocating knowledge of our summer products, season passes and resort information. This is a seasonal position from June 15 through October 6, 2024. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
The entirety of the work day is spent at the Guest Services department areas; this may include inside the Ticket Office or outside in the Plaza. A majority of the day can be spent standing when customers are present. A partial amount of the work day can be spent sitting while completing tasks at your designated area. A break will be required and time slots will be assigned. During this time, the employee must leave their designated work area. They may choose to ride the scenic chair, go on a walk, grab lunch, shop in the retail stores, ect.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Greet guests and groups as they arrive
- Sell all types of summer products offered at Purgatory Resort
- Have general knowledge of Purgatory Webstore to help guests with online purchases
- Answer Purgatory Resort related questions
- Balance the cash drawer accurately to the correct amount at the end of each shift. Ensure all adjustments, voids, refunds, comps, and discounts are recorded properly.
- Occupying their assigned work areas through the entirety of their shift
- Keep the work area clean, neat, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Excellent guest/customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Good math skills - must balance products sold to money received
- General computer skills
- Ability to work within a team in close quarters
- Strong attention to detail
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one year of computer experience; previous experience handling customer requests and/or complaints preferred; working as a cashier or bank teller desired.
