About the Position - The Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse is a leadership role in the coordination of care for the office settings. The Nurse Manager in consultation with Medical Director is responsible for establishing standards of nursing practice and promotion positive patient outcomes. The Nurse Manager works collaboratively with nursing staff to facilitate planning, provider and patient scheduling, policy developing and care systems for the patient, family, and wellness of the community. Also provides direct supervision and evaluation of the nursing team.
Qualifications/Skills
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, minimum bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Vermont – unrestricted
- 3-5 years of progress nurse leadership experience with focus on performance improvement and systems management.
- Evidence of leadership, creativity, integrity, initiative and communication skills.
- Evidence of BLS /CPR.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to analyze complex problems, implement solutions and evaluate outcomes.
- Understanding of primary care and coordinated health delivery systems.
- Proven ability to build, lead and manage teams.
- Coordination in areas of budgeting, revenue cycle management, data systems, facilities, and capital expenditures.
- Maintains and fosters communication with the management team, as indicated, to support goals, objectives, and philosophies.
- Works as a team player with all practice employees, management staff, and providers.
- Improves the operational systems, processes and policies to support organization’s mission as assigned.
- Assists with grant application and management as assigned.
- Assists with annual Uniform Data Set Report as assigned.
