Position Title: Scheduling Associate Job Status: Non-Exempt, Full-time
Reports to: Logistics Manager Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Job Summary
The Scheduling Associate is primarily responsible for scheduling the delivery and installation of products with customers. Must exhibit a high level of customer service skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule and route multiple local delivery trucks in the Denver metro and surrounding areas.
- Contact customers to schedule deliveries and follow up on delivery dates.
- Communicate with customers regarding site preparation checklist for installations.
- Answer calls from drivers and assist with resolving delivery issues.
- Support customer and sales team generated service requests.
Requirements/Abilities
- Geographical knowledge of the Denver metro and surrounding areas.
- Knowledge of home appliances.
- Computer literate (internet, Microsoft office).
- Pleasant phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Ability to manage difficult customer situations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take direction and solve problems effectively.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player and independently.
- Clear and concise communication skills (oral and written).
Education & Experience
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent certification.
- At least 1 year customer service experience.
- Previous scheduling experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Working Conditions
- Weekdays, day-time shift with over-time as needed.
