Job Posting for Diagnostic Scheduler at Mountain Valley Orthopedics PC
Mountain Valley is seeking a qualified candidate for a busy multi-specialty Orthopedic practice. This position requires 2 years experience as a medical secretary or medical assisting degree and the ability to perform the following tasks successfully:
Schedule diagnostic tests and referrals.
Pre-certification of outpatient diagnostic testing.
Manage telephone calls with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Scan all paperwork in patient medical records in a timely manner.
Assist families, employers, insurance companies, and all parties involved in the treatment team with inquires.
Able to multi-task
Organizational skills
Attention to detail
Professional and positive attitude.
Ability to work as a team player and independently
Excellent communication skills-to effectively communicate with physicians, patients, and co-workers with both oral and written communication skills.
Time Management
Special requests assigned by physicians and management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
