Our organization is seeking a energetic, motivated, organized Medical Assistant to support our team, a physician and a physician assistant. The individual filling this position will have an array of responsibilities, including but not limited to taking patient histories, assisting with procedures, and maintaining medical records. A background in dermatology or other medical offices is a bonus. We are willing to train the right candidate. A passion for helping patients/ people is a helpful quality. Opportunity for advancement is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist/scribe dermatologist with patient office and surgery appointments.
  • Prepare the exam room for patients.
  • Answer the phone.
  • Meet with patients to discuss symptoms and examine them.
  • Collect medication samples for testing.
  • Help patients change bandages, sterile dressings, or diapers.
  • prior authorizations.
  • Sterilize surgical instrument.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
