SCHEDULE
Full Time: Monday - Friday 8:45am - 6:15pm; Rotating Saturdays 8:45am - 2:15pm

Experience
Abilities usually acquired in four years of leadership experience with three years financial institution experience preferred.
Education
Two year college degree or equivalent work experience is required, Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.

Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, Trainings
- Must meet all Branch Progression training expectations of all positions supervised
- Notary Public or have ability to obtain within first 90 days where possible

- Must be able to qualify annually as a Mortgage Loan Originator under S.A.F.E Act Registration
- The branch manager is responsible to ensure that the branch is appropriately staffed with employees that are trained to reasonably meet the needs of the member including ensuring appropriate staff coverage of all Credit Union products and services including but not limited to: depository, lending, online, mobile, safe deposit (where applicable), notary and medallion services.
Computer/Office Equipment Skills
- Basic computer operating skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Symitar experience
- Type a minimum of 35 words per minute preferred
Managerial Responsibility
- Has supervisory/managerial responsibilities that are direct or through work leaders or assistants, typically
- with a subordinate group of 3 to 10 employees.
- Estimates personnel needs and assigns work to meet these needs.
- Supervises, coordinates and reviews the work of assigned staff.
- Recommends candidates for employment, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff, and applies company policy.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of credit union policies and procedures as well as related work experience in operations (teller and new account functions), lending (loan origination) and sales in a financial institution.
- Must have the ability to make sound decisions based on credit union policies.
- Must have the ability to supervise, train and lead others in providing quality service and selling credit union products and services.
- Must have leadership skills which include the ability to motivate and coach employees and gain team buy in.
- Must have a proven track record of building trust and confidence with others inside the organization, members and potential customers.
- Must have the ability to develop a strong MACU presence in the community. Also, through your marketing efforts and working with other skilled managers you must be able to develop reputable relationships and communicate with Select Employee Groups (SEG’s) and the business community.
