Develop, grow, and effectively lead organizational and/or dedicated department data analysts. Provide ongoing leadership, training, and coaching to ensure a high performing, knowledgeable team
Leads analysts in the use of data mining, model building, and other in-depth analytical techniques to author and present white papers, reports, or solutions containing actionable recommendations. Responsible to assist team members in communicating analytics model behavior/results to business stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
Proactively stay on the forefront of data architecture, data security, predictive modeling and behavioral analytics tools and processes, and Business Intelligence tools and methods to meet current and future analytics needs for the organization.
Assists with leadership of the Voice of the Customer and Voice of the Employee survey process, system administration and leads analysts to find and provide business insights and be proactive with results
Proactively collaborates with other technical and business teams to understand data needs and apply creative solutions that drive positive business outcomes.
Communicate effectively and professionally with business stakeholders, IT/IS partners, direct reports, and other leaders.
Develop effective written project plans, collaborate cross-functionally on enterprise-wide initiatives, and ensure on-time team execution of high-value data deliverables.
Helps define team and individual goals, partners with and supervises team to define and execute projects, establish project plans, timelines, proactively communicates progress and is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery
Provides relevant information to VP of Data & Analytics to set direction for analytics projects and initiatives for the organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Education/Experience
Four-year college degree required, or equivalent experience. Prefer degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related discipline.
Eight or more years working with data analytics, Business Intelligence and data systems in complex, big data environments.
Three or more years of leadership responsibilities managing and working with multiple, large cross-functional teams or on projects that deliver meaningful insights to internal and external customers
Banking/Finance experience preferred.
Computer/Office Equipment Skills
Advanced level skill in Structured Query Language (SQL)
· Strong experience with T-SQL and MS-SQL
· Strong experience using SSRS, SSMS, SSIS
· Advanced experience with predictive analysis tools such as R, SAS, SPSS or Python.
· Strong experience with Visual Studio or similar software
· Advanced level skill for Excel, including statistical add-ins
· Advanced knowledge in analytical BI software such as Tableau, PowerBI, Oracle, etc.
· Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of data architecture and ETL processes.
Managerial Responsibility
Has direct supervisory/managerial responsibilities. Estimates personnel needs and assigns work to meet these needs. Supervises, coordinates and reviews work of assigned staff with a subordinate group of employees (typically 4-8). Recommends candidates for employment, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff.
Language Skills
· Effective communication skills with technical team members as well as business partners. Able to distill complex ideas into straightforward language.
