Infant and Toddler Specialist:

One (1) position available

Job Site: Regional position – assigned work site to be determined

Educational Requirements:

Preferred: Master’s Degree in early childhood, developmental psychology, educational psychology or child development and one year of professional experience working with infants and toddlers.

Acceptable: Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood, developmental psychology, or child development, and one year of professional experience working with infants and toddlers.

Have a current WV STARS Credential and meet the qualifications to be at least an affiliate trainer through the WV State Training and Registry System.

Valid driver’s license. APS/CPS check and a clear criminal background check with no charges related to child abuse and neglect, domestic violence or drug charges.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience and/or working knowledge of infant and toddler development and developmental milestones. Excellent communication, presentation and teaching/training skills. Ability to work effectively with a team. Preference will be given to individuals with PITC Certification and training for Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scale (ITERS-3).

Job Synopsis: Plan andprovidespecializedprofessional development and technical assistance/coaching to administrators and childcare providers of children birth to 35 months. Work as a member of an early childhood Professional Development Team. Work on special projects and continuous quality improvement.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 – $44,000 (Exempt position)
