Summary:

Mountainside, a leading behavioral health and addiction treatment center, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Intake Clinician to join our Outpatient team. The Intake Clinician plays a crucial role in the treatment process, facilitating the intake assessments and ensuring a smooth transition for clients into our care.

This position operates on a fee-for-service model, offering competitive compensation of $150 per completed intake. Reduced pay would apply for no-show or cancellations within 24 hours if scheduled service.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments with clients seeking mental health and addiction treatment services.
• Complete various forms, assessments, and initial wellness plans during the intake process.
• Coordinate intake drug and alcohol testing with identified parties.
• Liaise information to the assigned primary clinician for seamless transition and continuity of care.
• Communicate and coordinate initial treatment planning with referents and family members as clinically indicated.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all intake documentation within required timeframes.
• Educate clients on the treatment process and available services at Mountainside.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid clinical license in the state of practice, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Experience in conducting intake assessments and knowledge of addiction treatment protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in documentation.

Schedule and Compensation:

• Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate client needs.
• This is a remote position with the option to work on-site at any of our locations.
• Rate of $150 for each completed intake and $50 for each no-show.

Note: The intake process may take up to 3 hours, reflecting the thorough and comprehensive nature of our assessments. Intake Clinicians are integral to providing a positive and supportive experience for clients beginning their journey towards recovery at Mountainside.
