Transportation Coordinator (Per Diem)

About the Position:

Our primary focus is on picking up new clients needing treatment. We also handle client appointments, hospital transports, discharges and daily errands for Mountainside. 

Schedule:

As needed (on call) - Days, Nights, Weekends

Your Role:

• Must drive safely and without incident
• Follow relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation and ensure that passengers follow safety regulations.
• Test vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation.
• Coordinate with Transportation team and Admissions team to arrange pickup and transport of new admissions, current clients or groups on an as-need or scheduled basis.
• Complete documentation as it relates to the experience with client 
• Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles and help them with any luggage.
• Complete accident reports when necessary.
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation of vehicle use and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Current, valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Experience working in the area of customer service preferred but not required
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and transport passengers
• Familiarity with local roads, highways and their laws
• Provide weekly schedule of availability. 
• Flexible - Available to work nights and weekends. 

Compensation:

The base rate of pay for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
