As a Lead Echo Tech, at Mountainview Regional Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:
- Required: Education: Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Required: A graduate of the Committee of Allied Health and
- Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited sonography program or equivalent training in a non-academic environment providing eligibility for credentialing through CCI or ARDMS.
- Preferred: Include at least one (1) year of experience as an Echo Technologist in an acute care setting
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Required: Starting July 1st 2019 - New Mexico State Licensure in Cardiac Sonography
- Required: Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in cardiology or equivalent – (RDCS, RCS, or ACS)
- Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required - Due by close on the last day of the month after one full month of work.
About the Job:
- A clinically competent, registered, professional Sonographer who delivers care to the patient through utilization of sonographer knowledge while perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures as prescribed by physicians under the direction of a Cardiologist.
- Provides quality patient care in accordance with MVRMC policies and procedures and established patient care standards and practice.
