Primary Purpose
Oversee the operations of the Rendering plant. Manage all employees in operations. Ensure the Food Safety Plan is being followed. Ensure all safety guidelines are in place and being followed. Ensure KPI's are met and follow up on issues.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Overall management, both direct and indirect, to achieve operational and safety goals, Includes continuous training and employee development throughout all levels.
- Handling the logistics of the Rendering plant, raw material & finished product drivers (Feed Mill), maintenance (communication & liaison) & operations, responsible for compliance, throughput, and team development.
- Troubleshooting operational issues.
- Report monitoring of operational reports, action taken based on report results. Assure Compliance & Efficiencies and Operation Readiness and Targets.
- Process improvement & efficiencies driven by employee and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- BS in Agri-business.
- 10 years' demonstrated management experience in Rendering.
- Must include successful track record managing a shift or operations with progression in size and scope.
- Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must include experience managing Maintenance.
- PCQI - Preventive Controllers Qualified Individual - risk-based prevention system recognized by FDA.
