THE ROLE
The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with deep expertise in social and influencer marketing. They have a joyful approach to work and a passion for culture connectedness and talent discovery, and experience working with Fortune 100 brands to engage with creators and influencer talent through earned, paid, and 360 campaigns. They are experienced working collaboratively to create and execute exciting and innovative marketing initiatives that drive brand love and deliver on strategic business objectives.
Working with influencers and creator talent is a core executional pillar of Movers Shakers’ unique offering, and spans across social channels, with a focus on TikTok and emerging platforms. Our work hinges on our best-in-class relationships with influencers and creator talent, and you will help build and foster those relationships, along with helping us innovate in the ever-changing social space. This role is a key part of the M S leadership team, working directly with key clients, as well as with the company founders, executives and other department leads to define, implement, and improve our best-in-class influencer and creator talent offerings. We are looking for someone who has a positive, optimistic, and joyful leadership approach, while also has a sharp focus on executional excellence, with an eye for measurement and optimization. Your impact on the agency will span across:
Department Leadership
- Proactively lead and build a high-performing and passionate team who is focused on building strong relationships with influencers and creators at all levels
- Partner, coach, and manage a team whose success you will own - you will define/improve process, reporting and support the development of the team (currently 8 FTE)
- Guide the team to deliver outstanding work for clients
- Strategize for team growth and oversee both full-time and freelance hiring as we scale
Agency Leadership. Refine and expand the role of the influencer marketing function, and improve processes for seamless cross-functional collaboration.
- Help grow and refine the best role for influencer marketing in our disruptive agency model
- Continue to implement and grow our agency’s use of measurement and data tools to best support our influencer and talent work
- Champion the defining of lanes and processes among influencer marketing, strategy, creative, account, and other internal teams
Thought Leadership. Movers Shakers has rapidly built a brand based on thought leadership. You will help extend our thinking to maintain and increase our industry profile, attract the best clients and talent, and deliver exceptional campaign results.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, manage, execute and assure quality control on multiple social media/ influencer campaigns on TikTok and other social media platforms
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, client service, production, and cross-functional teams to build and integrate influencer strategies across multiple simultaneous campaigns
- Build relationships with creators, influencers, managers, and agents
- Collaborate with a range of teams (Clients, Legal, Production) to manage and negotiate influencer agreements
- Develop influencer selections to be presented internally and externally
- Stay on the cutting-edge of trends across social

QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of professional experience managing influencers for marketing campaigns with at least 4 years in an agency setting
- Experienced leading teams of 5 or more
- Deep passion for TikTok and experience working with TikTok influencers
- Experience building and scaling influencer marketing programs
- Passion for delighting clients and going above & beyond
- Takes initiative and has a caring and collaborative approach to leadership
- Keen eye for detail with the foresight to think about the bigger picture
- Experience working with internal and/or external agencies and Fortune 500 clients
- Super organized, experience managing and executing multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
