Job Description: Project Coordinator (Seasonal)
Reports To: The Project Coordinator will report to the Director of Sales Operations
Job Overview: Moxie Pest Control is the fastest growing pest control company in the industry. We’ve been in business for 20 yrs, but still move like a start-up. We are looking to grow our team to meet the demands of a growing company that is doubling its sales year-over-year. This position requires someone that can work in a fast-paced start-up environment with little direction. Pro-actively finding solutions to problems is key to success in this role. No day will be the same in this role.
Project coordinators are an important part of an organization’s project team. They work under a project manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Project coordinators oversee small parts of the larger project and are primarily responsible for administrative tasks.
Project coordinators utilize spreadsheets to track budgets, dates, and other information. They organize contracts, financial files, reports, and invoices, and perform administrative duties such as ordering office supplies, bookkeeping, and billing. These professionals are also responsible for coordinating and attending meetings and developing project strategies.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create processes and maintain the database for all salesman information, which include but not limited to onboarding and housing.
- Communicate with properties to ensure all leases are signed.
- Assist PjM Housing with sourcing apartments and hotel options in markets.
- Read contracts and leases and ensure that all information is accurate and up to date.
- Update Finance ledger as summer progresses, to ensure every amount spent is tracked accurately.
- Salesmen summer communication via zendesk, with a response time of 2 hours. This will include:
- General housing questions
- General operational questions
- Provide insights into data as assigned projects
- Be the solution, anticipate PjM and Director’s needs.
- Be the truth teller of the company by always telling stories with data and facts
- Daily reporting to leadership
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, and project schedules to ensure on time and in budget delivery of projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or other relevant degrees or 2-3 yrs relevant experience
- Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel)
- Basic understanding of G-Suite applications (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets)
- Hands-on experience managing timelines and deliverables
- Apartment leasing management experience
- Great attention to detail
- Data entry is a must
- Work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
