Duties:
- Provide counseling and support services to individuals and families in need
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists, healthcare providers, and social service agencies
- Advocate for clients to access necessary resources and services
- Offer crisis intervention and management when needed
- Mentor clients to develop coping skills and resilience
- Assist with childcare arrangements and workforce development programs
- Specialize in areas such as Medicare assistance, addiction counseling, child welfare, behavioral health, and workforce development
