Job Summary
Moxies in Plano is looking for a motivated and energetic Busser/Food Runner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring tables are clean and reset promptly, and food is delivered to guests in a timely manner. We value individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and assist both the kitchen and serving staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Table Clearing & Setup: Quickly and efficiently clear tables of dishes, glassware, and utensils, resetting them for the next guests.
- Food Running: Safely deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring presentation and accuracy.
- Guest Interaction: Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, addressing their needs promptly and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keep the dining area clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping floors, restocking service stations, and maintaining restroom cleanliness.
- Collaboration: Assist servers, hosts, and kitchen staff by providing support during busy shifts.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all sanitation and food safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy dining experience for guests.
- Teamwork: Work as part of a team to deliver an efficient and smooth service.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a busser or food runner is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Passion for customer service and teamwork.
