mph club is looking for a data-driven operator and builder with a strong focus on asset utilization. You will take point on managing a fleet of vehicles by analyzing data for performance gaps and process improvements, managing partner and vendor relationships, and improve processes. You will work cross functionally at our locations that operates with multiple business lines. Your passion for exotic and luxury vehicles and customer service is bar none. You’re excited to operate and grow a business within a business and have an all-hands-on-deck attitude.
Responsibilities
· Manage the vehicle supply lifecycle across your region, from in-fleeting to maintenance and service to vehicle registrations
· Take ownership of our fleet and the management of strategic partnerships with local vendors to ensure maintenance and damage repairs meet our standards
· Build cross-functional, internal partnerships that support your unit of business
· Forecast quarterly inventory of vehicles and collaborate with regional management to balance demand and vehicle supply
· Lead and develop a team of Fleet Dispatchers, Tow Truck Drivers, and Car Wash Technicians. (i.e training, scheduling, resolutions)
· Hold 1:1s and feedback sessions with your team, based on your observations, and our Fleet performance metrics
· Handle escalated vehicle issues to get vehicles back in service and increase utilization
· Work to improve the driver experience and have a passion for doing so by interacting with renters to understand areas for opportunity
· Present quantitative and qualitative findings to regional leadership to help drive high impact decisions
· Analyze data for performance gaps and process improvements, always be looking ahead
Experience
· 5 years of professional experience preferred
· 3 years managing hard assets in a fleet management business (car rental, FMC, etc) preferred
· Experience managing a team
· General knowledge of the automotive industry and vehicles
· Strong emphasis on data-driven decisions
· Proficiency in Mac products
· Experience managing vendors and partners
· Extremely process oriented
· Strong communicator -- can communicate equally effectively with staff, vendors, and leadership
· Strong bias for action
