- To personally assume responsibility for the health, safety, welfare, and conduct of all students
- To personally exemplify high standards of conduct, ethics and appearance.
- To be knowledgeable of and to abide by all District policies and procedures as they relate to the aspects of his/her subject area
- Organizes and supervises a series of regularly- scheduled activities for students
- Actively promotes the program(s) and seek student participation
- Attend all activity meetings and in school events and supervise students on off-site field trips
- Evaluates the programs annually and makes recommendations as necessary for improvement
- Acts as a resource person on an interdepartmental level to relate appropriate aspects of his/her subject area to other subject areas
- Develops instructional plans and organizes class time to provide a balanced program of instruction
- Develops and maintains professional competence through participation in in-service education activities provided by the district and in self-selected professional growth activities
- To perform all other duties consistent with contractual terms of employment.
