Genral Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and remodeling, with a strong understanding of various building materials and techniques. This role involves working on construction sites, assisting with various tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. The Laborer will collaborate with skilled tradespeople and support the overall progress of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and cleanup of sites, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Perform tasks related to framing carpentry, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
• Apply stucco, plaster, and caulking as needed for finishing touches on projects.
• Help restore structures by performing repairs and maintenance as directed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of remodeling projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a construction or labor-intensive role is preferred.
• Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and construction terminology.
• Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools commonly used in construction.
• Knowledge of stucco application, plastering techniques, caulking methods, and framing carpentry is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices on the job site.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
