Job Description
The ideal candidate for our Trade Show Marketing Manager LOVES talking to people, inspiring, and leading a team, and wants to grow with our company. This role requires leadership skills, actively generating leads at community events, festivals, trade shows,and big box stores. This position requires a driven, self-motivated, and outgoing professional to be successful.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team by example to generate leads from retail environments, shows, and trade show events.
Passionate about people development and driven to hit targets each month while providing red carpet experience for the team and prospects.
Works with the lead generation team to develop and implement effective lead generation strategies for each event.
Regularly visits events and stores to provide coaching and support to the team, and to assess the effectiveness of lead generation efforts at events.
Monitors weekly reports to generate individual performance improvement plans per marketer, per location.
Assist team with display set-up and breakdown when needed.
Meets and exceeds established productivity goals by generating quality appointments through the leadership and management of a lead generation team.
Keeps accurate records and data of leads generated, appointments scheduled, and other relevant information in the company's CRM software.
Participates in regular training and development sessions to stay up to date on policies, procedures, and industry developments and trends.
Collaborates with the marketing team to provide feedback on promotional materials and strategies, as well as identify new opportunities for lead generation.
Evaluates data and results to identify areas of improvement.
Hire, train, and maintain teams of field marketers across multiple locations.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation for travel to retail locations and events.
Ability to and desire to be available nights and weekends are a MUST.
Excellent Customer Service and interpersonal skills with a “can do” attitude.
Previous home-improvement marketing experience (telecommunications, home services, home improvement, etc.).
Thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve results.
