Our team is growing and looking for a commercial carpenter. This role is crucial to our success throughout our commercial, industrial, and residential projects around Wisconsin.

As a Carpenter, you will
- Possess a high level of skill in rough and/or finished carpentry including but not limited to wood and steel framing, doors, cabinets, and trim work.
- Responsible for safe working conditions and compliance with all safe operating procedures.
- Understand material management for each assigned project.
- Accurately measure and perform layouts according to blueprints. Review and interpret contract drawings and specifications on assigned projects as appropriate.
- Collaborative and willing to help where needed. Lead by example with key CGI Construction policies and practices.
- Contribute to an atmosphere focused on communication, trust, and employee engagement.
- Be professional and courteous at all times when representing CGI Construction.
- Participate in the interactive development of an annual plan focused on YOUR professional growth.
Training, Education and Experience:
- Education – High school diploma or G.E.D
- Experience and/or Training – No prior experience or training required. Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints as well as performing layout preferred.
- Licenses/Certificates - Valid Driver's license. OSHA 10- or 30-hour trainings as well as Forklift and Aerial Lift Certifications preferred.
- Technology/Equipment –Ability to use a smart phone for calls, emails, calendars as well as accessing files or documents. Ability to operate machinery, power tools, motor vehicles and heavy equipment preferred.
