We seek an experienced Operations Manager to lead field operations for project, focusing on asphalt paving and heavy highway/civil construction. This role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and management of asphalt paving projects.
- Coordinate with project managers to align with company objectives and maintain quality standards.
- Manage scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
- Lead negotiations for contracts, supplies, and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations on all job sites and address any field issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction management, focusing on roads, highways, and bridges.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, cost control, scheduling, and project operations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in software such as Excel, Primavera, and SAP.
