Responsibilities
The Associate Project Manager is responsible for planning and launching new projects:
- Guide and direct the project team throughout each lifecycle phase
- Ensure project budgets and quality targets are met
- Interface with customers for issue resolving on new and existing programs
- Work closely with upper management and relay project, health, and milestone statuses
- Utilize work plans, matrices, and key performance indicators to track & manage progress
- Provide engineering with development assistance and guide validation testing
- Assure proper documentation according to company procedures & standards
- Establish & maintain project timelines using the available project management software
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- 1 years of automotive program management experience
- Experience working with automotive customers – OEMs and/or Tier 1s
