Responsibilities
- Mechanical machine and test apparatus specification review and refinement.
- Technical problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Safety and ergonomics issues related to manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of:
Manufacturing processes and electrical equipment such as Program Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), and control circuits.
Technical and electrical problem solving and troubleshooting.
Safety and Ergonomic principles and regulations.
Proven ability to:
Pro-actively participate in cross-functional teams.
Collect data to justify process changes with the potential to impact spending on capital and tooling projects.
Communicate and gain consensus with peers and colleagues.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, from an ABET-accredited program, and have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year before beginning this opportunity.
