Responsibilities

Purpose of Position

The People Services team, provides administrative and operational support to all MSA employees and leaders on cases (requests, inquiries) related to Human Resources processes, policies and practices, through various levels of HR services, in partnership with other internal HR teams, prioritizing activities based on the needs of each case and deadlines.

 

This position contributes to MSA’s success by delivering standard HR services in the most efficient way possible and adds value through execution of HR services with a focus on:

  • Consistency and compliance. HR cases are always handled in the same, consistent way, which helps ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Operational Excellence. Through clear responsibilities, streamlined processes and workflows. In addition to providing a better HR service, operational excellence also results in a better employee experience and efficiency.
  • Improved employee experience. Employees get their issues resolved and find relevant information quickly and conveniently. This has a positive impact on their overall employee experience.

Major Responsibilities

  • Work in a portfolio of HR cases, prioritizing activities based on the needs of each case and deadlines.
  • Help managers and employees on HR cases, following the designed process and workflow and acquiring all the required approval according to the standardized practices and guidelines.
  • Support internal HR teams People Experience, Payroll, Compensation, Benefit, and TA to solve manager and employee questions.
  • Execute with the data team all the employees' transactions like hires, termination, promotion, and change in jobs or teams, etc., are recorded accurately after acquiring all the needed approvals.
  • Effective and efficient people-related HR cases administration according to the local processes, policies, and SLAs, ensuring the HR case notes are accurately captured for any future reference.
  • HR case details recorded accurately in the appropriate system and administrated timely and driven through to conclusion.
  • Ensure all the documents generated in compliance with the local regulations and stored according to the GDPR and Audit guidelines.
  • Usage and adoption of the People Services system and support continuous improvements activities.

Qualifications

Experience (required)

  • 1-3 years of related HR experience.
  • Experience in answering and actioning diverse escalation related to HR policies/guidance/process, using a wide range of information sources.
  • Ability to build strong relationships within HR team and stakeholders

Experience (preferred):

  • Experience in shared service organization
  • Experience in HR Help Desk or Customer Service

Education (required):

  • During studies or Diploma / BS in Human Resources, Business or other related area.

Education (preferred):

  • Additional certification in Human Resources.
