MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and implement an effective media program that functions as an integral part of the total educational program at Moscow Middle School. Provide informed guidance in the use of library services and resources. Select quality materials that meet the needs of individual students and teachers. Plan for future needs including inventory of materials, supplies and equipment. Establish and maintain procedures and standards for the efficient operation of the library. Budget planning and management. Provide a comfortable, accessible environment for learning activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold or meet minimum requirements for an Idaho Standard Instructional Certificate with a Teacher Librarian (K-12) endorsement as required by State Law and the State Board of Education. A teaching contract will not be issued until this credential is on file with the Moscow School District.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous successful experience working in a school library.
